The Unique Value
of Our Testing

At i-Labs, our tests go beyond a simple diagnosis, helping patients and their doctors understand their recovery process. Using cutting-edge technology to evaluate immune cells known as T cells, with a set of different technologies we can evaluate the status of the immune system and answer four important questions:

  • Is the infection active?
  • How severe is it?
  • Is the immune response appropriate?
  • What organism is causing this infection?

These data points can be useful for health care providers to make clinical decisions as we can provide a concise data set as a snapshot of the immune responses at given time point.

Why Our Testing
Stands Out

i-Labs is the only lab in the United States that provides these sets of cell based T cells tests. Our testing helps provide a roadmap for recovery, whether you’re a patient seeking clarity or a provider delivering precision care.

i-Labs is CLIA-certified, delivering dependable, high-quality results. We provide precise, personalized insights into health, empowering patients and equipping providers with vital data.

What CLIA
Certification

CLIA certification ensures that i-Labs meets rigorous federal standards for laboratory testing accuracy, safety, and quality.
This certification reflects our commitment to excellence, giving you confidence in every result we deliver.

Disease
Testing

  • Viral testing, providing insights into the cycle of latency and lytic viral infections such as Epstein-Barr (EBV), Cytomegalovirus (CMV), Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV), and other herpes viruses and continuous T cell stimulation through viral SARS-CoV2 reservoirs
  • Tick-borne infections, providing T cells testing as a tool to follow through the disease course of multiple tickborne illnesses
  • Immune assessment, evaluating the activity and effector function of T cells in health and infection
  • Immune dysregulation, quantifying if the immune response is appropriate for the infection
  • Stress and viral reactivation, uncovering drivers of fatigue or brain fog
  • Detecting if the pathogenic virus or bacterium is still present in the body
  • Inflammation-related challenges affecting mental well-being, identifying imbalances in neurotransmitters and stress hormones

For patients, this provides clarity about their health status and recovery process. Providers use the actionable data to tailor treatment plans for conditions like Lyme, chronic fatigue, or neuroinflammation.
Our commitment to reliability ensures results you can trust. Overnight shipping preserves specimen quality, and our fast turnaround, within seven business days, delivers timely answers.

Testimonials

At Treat Wellness, i‑Labs has truly elevated our diagnostic approach. Their cell‑based T‑cell testing delivers fast, actionable insights—revealing whether an infection is active, its severity, and the specific pathogen involved—unlike any other test in its field. As a provider, this allows me to customize treatment plans in real time based on each patient’s unique needs. The precision and speed of i‑Labs have become indispensable to delivering timely, personalized care.

T-cell testing from i-Labs has quickly become my go-to diagnostic tool for assessing patients with suspected chronic infections. It’s been such a valuable option to my patients for both diagnosis and tracking treatment efficacy.

Just recently, I had a new patient request IV antibiotics for Lyme disease after aggressive antibiotic treatment with another provider. Her IGeneX testing was negative, though she had been on antibiotics at the time (through an outside provider). We ran T cell testing to reassess, and it came back clear. This helped shift the focus—turns out chronic viral infections were the more likely culprit (also ruled out mold). Your testing saved her from unnecessary, aggressive, and expensive treatment.

Another patient was requesting another round of antibiotics or more aggressive treatment for mycoplasma pneumonia. Before going that route, we ran your T-cell testing, which confirmed the infection had cleared. That gave me the leverage to recommend mycotoxin testing—which came back significantly elevated and helped redirect his care.

These are just a few examples of how T cell testing has been a game changer in my practice so far – and I have only implemented it more since our last meeting. It’s helped me get to the root cause more efficiently and confidently, especially when traditional immunoglobulin testing falls short. I also have been getting a lot of clarity from the COVID panel—it’s such a useful tool as well in differentiating the causes.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart—for your generosity, for making this technology accessible, and for the incredibly meaningful work you do. Helping patients find clarity and direction is truly the greatest gift. I will be in touch. 🙂
